It is the wartime Forties.

A small town in Steinbeck’s Central California bisected by the historic El Camino Real , now the busy Highway 101, reels from the impact of the modern World with its speed, thrill-seeking, crime, corruption, war and clash of cultures. The town turns to a young, brash newcomer to protect its  identity and innocence.

What ensues is a story of suspense, magic, romance, comedy and community empowerment.

This full-length two-act musical play incorporates thirteen original songs, choreographed dance, an historic vehicle as well as the mercurial Bing Crosby.
